In Episode 42 we are joined by Rev. Timothy McMahan King. Tim is a deacon in the Episcopal Church, a writer, nonprofit professional, a senior fellow with Clergy for a New Drug Policy, and owner of Vagabond Strategies. He has worked as a community organizer, the chief strategy officer of Sojourners, and a consultant for national nonprofits, advocacy campaigns, and political candidates.

Rev. King is the author of the new book “What Are Drugs For? An Exploration of Stolen Fire” (2026) and “Addiction Nation” (2019).
