Our Guest in Episode 8 of The Psychedelic Christian Podcast is Joe Welker. Joe is a Masters of Divinity candidate & ministry fellow at Harvard Divinity School, Bachelors in Religious Studies from UNC Chapel Hill, Project Manager of Sacred Plant Alliance, creator & former host of the Choose Your Own Religion Podcast, and intern at Ligare.org. He is also a member of the Presbyterian Church USA, where he is discerning a call to ordained ministry.
Joe shares with us his experience of growing up in the Presbyterian Church as a pastors kid, shelving his Christian faith as a young adult, attempting to find his true spiritual path, and ultimately returning to the church at least in part due to his psychedelic experiences.
