Today I am happy to welcome Paul Risse to the The Psychedelic Christian Podcast. Paul is a bit of a renaissance man. At the age of 46, he seems to have already lived many lives through his various careers & experiences. Although now he eats a varied & intuitive diet he spent years of his life as a raw-food vegan. He has lived off-grid without electricity. He worked as a personal trainer for clients on the popular television show ABC’s Extreme Makeover. He worked as personal trainer, chef, & life coach for the “Average Joe on the Raw” documentary. As CEO of Cleanse America over a 2 year period he helped over 10,000 people through healthfully cleansing their bodies of toxins. And with no prior construction experience he built his own house & wrote the book “Kinda Tiny Home, An Unorthodox Approach to Building & Owning Your Own Home”. He currently works in design, building, marketing, & sales with Hayhurst Brothers Construction, building beautiful custom homes that have been featured on DIY network & HGTV. He also currently operates Line 2 Events: live events focused of teaching people proactive solutions for a changing America, with emphasis on building resilient intentional community networks of people who cooperate to thrive during difficult times.
Paul is also the author of the recently published book “The Psychedelic Christian”, a book written for people searching the spiritual realm for truth, where he points people to Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth, & the Life.
Paul is a very thoughtful & intentional Christian leader, who also just so happens to have varied & extensive experience with psychedelics.
Paul currently lives in Bridgeport, TX with his wife Brittany, & daughter Kalee, where he enjoys his work, travel, philosophy, meaningful conversations, & living out his Christian faith.
