Dr. Bill Richards is a clinical psychologist and has been studying the therapeutic potential of psychedelics for over 50 years, beginning in 1963 with his own transformative psilocybin experience, while perusing his education in Germany.
Back in the United States Dr. Richards conducted research at the Maryland Psychedelic Research Center and Johns Hopkins University Center for Psychedelics & Consciousness Research, studying the potential for psychedelic treatment of a number of conditions, including: alcoholism, depression, addiction, smoking cessation, cancer-related stress, and existential anxiety.
